Layout Canvas is for the moments when you need a clear layout drawing without opening a heavy specialist tool. Place shapes, tune sizes and distances numerically, organize work with layers, and build practical plans for stages, venues, and facilities. Drawings are autosaved, and share links open a view-only page without requiring the recipient to sign in.
Refine layouts with measurements
Choose mm, cm, or m as the working unit, then enter position, width, height, and rotation values directly. When two shapes are selected, you can inspect and adjust the distance between them.
- Unit selection
- Numeric position and size fields
- Distance display and editing
- Alignment and contact guides
Keep drawings organized with layers
Separate background plans, fixtures, dimensions, and notes into layers. Layers can be renamed, reordered, shown together, or isolated while you edit.
- Create and rename layers
- Reorder layers by dragging
- Show all or isolate one layer
- Edit only the active layer
Use plans as a base
Import VDX, SVG, JSON, CSV, PDF, and image files. PDFs are placed as first-page images that can be moved, resized, and rotated like normal objects.
- Place PDF and image plans
- Best-effort VDX restoration
- SVG / JSON / CSV import
- SVG / PNG / JSON export
Autosave and share links
Drawing contents and canvas names are saved automatically. While signed in with Google, work syncs to the cloud, and share links let others open a view-only snapshot without logging in.
- Cloud save with Google sign-in
- Automatic saves while editing
- View-only sharing without login
- Snapshot display from the moment of sharing
